Emerging mural artist from Central Ohio is set to reveal 50+ original artworks on August 6th at The Orphanage Gallery in Dayton Ohio. Artist, musician, father and fighter are just a few adjectives that can be used to describe this man. Chris Duda uses art and music as an outlet to not only inspire change in himself, but others as well. Raised in Reynoldsburg Ohio, Chris Duda is husband to his wife Rebecca, and a father of three who has been involved in art and music for the majority of his life. Chris toured with a rock band in his late teens and has been working as an artist and musician ever since. With Alex Pardee and Shepard Fairey being a couple of his influences; Chris has painted murals in both the United States and Canada. With no professional training or schooling, Chris is a completely self taught artist. He has built his career on his own by networking online and and participating in various conventions and gallery shows across the states. Chris is passionate about both music and art, and enjoys spending time with his family and being a father. Through his art; he hopes to inspire other people to create. “If my art can inspire one person to create, then my job is done.” Chris said. Opening night for Chris Duda’s Art Show will be August 6th at The Orphanage Gallery located at 73 N Dutoit St. Dayton, Ohio 45402. Doors will open at 1pm. Works will be on display through August 22nd. Portions of every sale will be donated to The Food Bank of Dayton to assist in feeding local residents. You can also expect music, food trucks and other local art studios to be open. All ages are welcome. Come out to have a good time and most importantly; support local artists.
